Who We Are...
Women Safe House Sustenance Initiative is a non-profit organization dedicated to protecting and rehabilitating women and girls from all forms of Gender Based Violence in Nigeria. We provide shelter, legal aid, healthcare and comprehensive services to women and girls of all ages who are survivors of Rape, Domestic Violence, Female Genital Mutilation, Child Marriage and Sex Trafficking. Since 2016, we have created safe spaces for several women and girls to thrive

Programs
Women Safe House Sustenance Initiative offers free comprehensive crisis services for survivors of gender based violence. We serve women and girls from Nigeria. Participation in our programs is free and confidential.
LEGAL SERVICES (LITIGATION) PROGRAM
We understand that navigating through the legal system can be expensive, difficult and confusing. Women Safe House provides legal services to women and girls experiencing gender based violence, stalking, human or sex trafficking in Nigeria
SHELTER (SAFE HOUSE) SERVICES
Women Safe House offers emergency shelter at an undisclosed location for women and girls fleeing gender based violence. The emergency shelter offers a trauma-informed supportive environment focused on healing. Survivors can access care coordination, counselling, healthcare and safety planning
COUNSELING PROGRAM
We believe that counseling can be instrumental in helping a survivor overcome that trauma experienced in an abusive relationship or violence faced to move forward. Counseling is available for survivors of all forms of gender based violence, sexual assualt, stalking or domestic abuse, whether it occured recently or in the past. Sessions are offered to women and girls as individuals or as a group
COMMUNITY AND RELIGIOUS INSTITUTIONS EDUCATION & TRAININGS
We believe that knowledge of is key and that together with an informed community we can eliminate gender based violence against women and girls. We strive to engage, educate and inspire community leaders and members to join us in this belief. We offer a range of free trainings, campaigns, presentations and workshops to spread awareness about gender based violence agianst women and girls.
